Find a Provider

Years of research has shown that early diagnosis and intervention is important, and that most children with autism respond well to highly structured, specialized programs. Acting early can help children with autism reach their full potential.

It is important to remember that children with autism can get sick or injured just like children without autism. Regular medical and dental exams should be part of a child’s intervention plan.

Before you make decisions on your child’s treatment, you will want to gather information about the various options available. Learn as much as you can, look at all the options, and make your decision on your child’s treatment based on your child’s needs.

Here are some resources you will find helpful in finding a service provider near you:

A Directory of Professional Providers
Serving the Autism Community

The Autism Society of Minnesota publishes a list of professional services and providers in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin who work with individuals and families with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Included are services and/or providers that have been deemed helpful by consumers. You can download the Resource Directory for free.

Autism Resources Across the United States

The Autism Society of America strives to offer only credible and reliable resources and has collaborated with other autism organizations and professionals throughout the U.S to create a listing of autism providers.
